Been Sick
I apologize for not posting in a while, but I have been sick. When I started to get better, it was grocery shopping time, and for my family that takes 2 or 3 days to do so I won't spend an arm and a leg. We also took the kids to get their Halloween Costumes. Mandy is going to be Hannah Montana and Hunter is going to be a dinosaur. Hel really liked that idea, as would most 3 year old little boys. I got them 2 cookie haunted houses for them to decorate and they just got done doing one of them. I took pictures of the building process and the finished work of art.

I'll post more pics of the other one when they get it built, and when they get dressed up to go out trick or treating. I can't wait, this year will be Hunter's first year realizing what is going on, lol. It will be so cute! I am going to take vido of that and post it also. Have a good work week all!

Grillin'
Sitting outside grilling juicy ribs is what life is all about! It's another beautiful day in the neighborhood. My husband is still on vacation, so we are enjoying the last few days of it.
I am sitting here looking back at my own childhood thinking that my dad never grilled as much as my husband does. I guess when you have 10 kids to feed, that becomes more than a job, lol.
I get tickled at my husband because I have seen him stand outside in the snow, beer in one hand and a spatula in the other, in his coveralls, flippin' burgers or whatever else we may decide to throw on there. He is just too funny. No grilling season around here. Its grilling here all year long. (Which is fine with me, that is less I have to heat the oven up for.)

Wonderful Weather
What a wonderful day today was. It was warm, but not too warm, sunshining and a slight breeze blowing. This is one of my favorite times of the year. I can actually spend time outside taking care of my plants without falling over from heat exhaustion. I spent plenty of time watering them and taking off the dead parts of the plants while the kids played outside.
The two youngest ones dug in the sand for quite a long time before calling it quits and heading to the house to take a bath. It is nice when they actually play together nicely and quietly. (Which does not happen very often.)
My husband went hunting this morning, and did not get anything. He said the wind was blowing too hard. the deer won't get up and move around much cause they can't hear good when the wind blows that hard. I hope he does manage to get one this year with his bow, he has been practicing so hard with his target. He has managed to get quite a few bullseyes.
I hope tomorrow is as nice as it was today, maybe I can get out from in front of this computer for a bit to enjoy it.

Welcome to My PNN
Hi there! My name is Miss Crystal and welcome! I just wanted to introduce myself and tell ya'll a few things about me. I am a work-at-home mother of three crazy kids. I have been married to the same man for 10 years, and I am more in love with him today than I was the day we got married. He is a tugboat captain on the Mississippi River.
I grew up in Florida and then moved to Tennessee as an adult. I attended a vocational school for half the day my 11th grade year, while attending regular high school the other half. I graduated from the vocational school at the end of the year with my Secretarial Certificate. (It took the adults who attended 2 years whle going for a full day.) I always thought it was neat that I finished the vocational school before I finished high school.
I am lookng forward to sharing my life with you guys and can not wait until I post tomorrow!
Peace!
Miss Crystal
